The Neuro Probe crystal plate system (Stock# CT300L2/5) is a disposable instrument in the standard 96-well format that uses the proven hanging drop method. It consists of three components: a clear polystyrene microplate that is pre-greased for easy sealing, a single cover film with printed well positions for positive location, and a lid to protect the cover film and facilitate stacking. No other components parts are required. Other features include:

• Easy crystal retrieval
• Excellent imaging qualities
• Fast setup – about five minutes per plate
• Saves space in the cold room (compared with 24-well plates)
• May be used manually or automated with select robots
